Security Module

The Security Module is Bankr’s Protocol Safety Reserve. By staking $BNKR, you help strengthen the security of Bankr’s financial layer — and earn yield in return.

How It Works

  1. Stake your $BNKR tokens into the Security Module contract.

  2. Your staked tokens form part of the Protocol Safety Reserve, backing Bankr’s financial infrastructure.

  3. Earn yield in $BNKR for your contribution to protocol security.

  4. In the event of a protocol loss, up to 30% of staked tokens may be tapped to cover it.

  • Yield: Earn $BNKR yield for staking. Rewards are distributed proportionally to your share of the total staked pool.
  • Risk: Up to 30% of your stake can be tapped (slashed) if the protocol experiences a loss event.
  • At Launch: Over 1% of total $BNKR supply was deposited into the Security Module at launch (October 2025), establishing a strong initial safety reserve from day one.

Revenue Model

100% of Bankr revenue is redirected to $BNKR and $TN100x single-sided stakers and LP providers. The buyback flywheel mechanism uses protocol fees to fund $BNKR buybacks, creating continuous buy pressure and rewarding long-term stakers.

How to Stake

There are two ways to stake your $BNKR in the Security Module:

$BNKR Token

The $BNKR token is deployed on the Base network and serves multiple roles across the Bankr ecosystem:

  • Payments: Pay for agent services and API calls
  • Staking: Stake in the Security Module to earn yield and secure the protocol
  • Governance: Participate in protocol governance decisions
  • x402 SDK calls: Used as the payment token for SDK interactions
  • Bankr Club membership: Hold $BNKR to access premium features through the Bankr Club
